Popular baker, Temple George Dokubo strangled to death


Celebrated baker, Temple George Dokubo was been found dead in his residence in the Opolo area of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

He was said to have been strangled to death.

According to police, “preliminary investigation reveals that the body of the deceased was discovered by his landlord on 17 April, 2021, at his apartment at Opolo, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

“The scene was visited by police detectives, and the corpse was taken to the Federal Medical Centre Mortuary for autopsy.”

In one of the comments Facebook, someone stated that he was a very close friend to the deceased.

He also said that “T George Dokubo was robbed and murdered on Friday night at his residence. While his body was found in his bathroom on Saturday morning”.

Meanwhile, the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, while the Commissioner of Police, Mike Okoli, has ordered a discreet investigation into the circumstances that led to the death of the popular baker.
