Lagos monarch, Osolo of Isolo dies at 64

Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka, Adeola Olushi III, the paramount ruler of Isolo Kingdom, is dead. The monarch, aged 64, passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, April 10, 2024, shortly after observing Eid prayers. The Executive Chairman, Isolo Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Olasoju Adebayo, announced the death in a statement he personally signed. Nollywood actor, Junior Pope, and three crew members have lost their lives following a tragic boat accident. The Actors Guild of Nigeria has subsequently stopped all film productions involving riverine areas and boat rides. The guild’s President, Ejezie Rollas, disclosed this in a circular dated April 11, 2024 and posted on social media on Thursday. Ogunbanjo’s family sues charter company over helicopter crash

The family of the late former Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group, Abimbola Ogunbanjo, who was killed in a Southern California helicopter crash in February filed a lawsuit on Wednesday, against the US helicopter company. The former Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings, Dr Herbert Wigwe, his wife and son were also onboard the ill-fated helicopter.
