FG directs freezing of Onnoghen bank accounts

Pending the determination of the alleged false asset declaration case against him at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, the Federal Government has asked the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit, NFIU, to freeze five accounts of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Walter Onnoghen. Monarch remanded for armed robbery in Ondo

Oba Oluwambe Ojagbohunmi, traditional ruler of the Ayetoro community in the Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, was on Tuesday remanded in police custody by an Akure Chief Magistrates’ Court over allegations of armed robbery and arson.
