Evangelist, five others sentenced to death by hanging for bank robberies

A popular Akure based Evangelist, Adewale Adelu, and five others have been sentenced to death by hanging by an Akure High Court, in Ondo state, for robbing two different banks in the state, 13 years ago. The convicts were said to have robbed the banks and carted away N34m. Anambra lawyer charged to court for brutalising maid

300 level Nursing student commits suicide over school’s failed accreditation

A 300-level student of a private tertiary institution in Ogun State, Havarde College of Science, Business and Management Studies, simply identified as Ajoke, has reportedly taken her life after the school allegedly failed to meet up with the accreditation requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. Lion attacks, kills OAU zoo keeper

Mr. Olabode Olawuyi, a veterinary technologist at the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, Ile Ife, has been killed by a 9-year old lion he was feeding on Monday.
