Police station razed in Apapa-Iganmu, Lagos

Suspected hoodlums has burnt down the Apapa Iganmu Police Station in Lagos State after two men were shot.

The incident occurred in the morning (Tuesday) according to information gathered.

It was alleged that policemen shot at the hoodlums before they set the police station ablaze.

It was said that they were protesting, while police officers attempted to disperse them. They resisted the police. Before you know it, two boys were shot in the shoulder and chest.

This was said to have infuriated other protesters, and in retaliation, they attacked the police station.

Reports say the burnt Station is in Apapa Iganmu but services both Iganmu community in Apapa Iganmu and Orile Community in Coker/Aguda.
