Operation SAFE HAVEN: Troops Neutralize Bandits, Rescue Kidnapped Victims

Troops of Operation SAFE HAVEN conducted successful operations in Plateau, Southern Kaduna, and Bauchi states. These operations resulted in the neutralization of bandits, the recovery of arms and ammunition, and the prevention of attacks.

They also arrested suspects and convicted criminals. Notably, they neutralized a suspected bandit named Saidu, engaged in a gun battle with bandits to rescue two kidnapped civilians, arrested notorious kidnappers, and thwarted a militia attack on Bisichi village while arresting a suspected gunrunner, Mohammed Kabiru, and recovering a pistol and cartridges.

Additionally, they, along with the Nigeria Police and hunters, rescued 11 female farmers who had been kidnapped while working on their farmlands at Riruwa village in Toro LGA.
