A man and his wife have been apprehended by the Nasarawa State Police Command for allegedly kidnapping their neighbor’s two-year-old son. The victim’s father reported the child missing, and the police launched an investigation.
The prime suspect, who lived near the victim’s family, admitted to conspiring with others to steal the child. He confessed that he gave the child to his wife, who took the child to Katsina State.
The police followed the trail, arrested the wife, and successfully rescued the child. In recent months, the police have also arrested 14 other individuals for various crimes like kidnapping, armed robbery, and cultism.
