Man Remanded in Ondo State for Alleged Sodomy of Step-Brother

In a recent development, the Ondo State Family Court, based in Akure, has ordered the remand of a man named Pelumi Folorunsho. He stands accused of allegedly sodomizing his eight-year-old step-brother at their residence on Odige Street in the NEPA area of Akure on September 16, 2023.

Pelumi was apprehended by local authorities following the alleged incident, which occurred when the parents were not present. He has been charged with indecent assault under Section 3(1) (a) of the VAPPLAW of Ondo State.

The police prosecutor, Mr. Martins Olowofeso, outlined that Pelumi intentionally caused harm by penetrating the young boy’s anus with his penis.

Magistrate F.A. Aduroja, presiding over the case, has ordered Pelumi to be remanded in police custody until the judgment is delivered. Additionally, Pelumi has been assigned community service, involving clearing the vicinity around the local police station for a duration of two weeks.

The case is slated for judgment on October 5, 2023, as authorities work to address this disturbing incident.
