Barbershop Owner Arrested Over Girl’s Death During Sexual Encounter in Ilorin

In Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, the local police have arrested a middle-aged man who runs a barbershop, following the alleged death of a girl during a sexual encounter on Monday.

The police confirmed the incident and have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the girl’s death. It was reported that the tragic incident occurred at a guest house in the Temidire community, Offa Garage area of Ilorin, where the man and his girlfriend had gone for leisure.

There are unconfirmed reports suggesting that the man may have used drugs in an attempt to impress his girlfriend, which ultimately led to the unfortunate turn of events.

According to sources, the girl became exhausted during their intimate encounter and subsequently lost consciousness, ultimately passing away. The man raised the alarm when he noticed the girl’s condition, and the guest house staff rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Following a report by the guest house owner to the Police ‘A’ Division in Ilorin, the middle-aged man was apprehended.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Okasanmi Ajayi, confirmed the incident and stated that a comprehensive investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
