National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, today, lost his first son, Babajide, to the cold hands of death.
It was gathered that Jide, as he was fondly called, died after a brief illness, in the wee hours of today.
A statement made available earlier today by the Chairman of the Lagos chapter of APC, Chief Henry Ajomale, reads;
“Dear Member,
It’s with regrets that I inform you of the demise of Mr. Jide Tinubu, the Son of Our dear and esteemed Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Jide Tinubu has since been buried in Lagos. He is survived by two children.
