Anthony Joshua in self-isolation after contact with Prince Charles

Boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, has gone into self-isolation after Prince Charles tested positive to coronavirus on Wednesday.
Joshua had on March 9 spent some time with the Prince but it is unclear if the prince had contracted the virus by then or not.
According to Joshua’s spokesman, the heavyweight champion remains ‘fit and healthy’ despite coming into contact with Prince Charles only a couple of weeks before the heir to the throne tested positive for coronavirus.
The world heavyweight champion is following government guidelines around self-isolation but has shown no symptoms of the deadly disease, which threatens to derail his upcoming fight with Kubrat Pulev.
On Wednesday, Prince Charles became the most high-profile member of the British establishment to contract coronavirus, with Clarence House announcing that the 71-year-old had been showing mild symptoms ‘but otherwise remains in good health’.
Joshua is due to defend his IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles against mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on June 20.
But the coronavirus could delay that bout and push back a hugely anticipated all-British fight with WBC champion Tyson Fury until next year at the earliest.
In a series of Twitter posts on Tuesday, Joshua thanked all those involved in trying to combat the coronavirus by saying: “It’s humbling to see people giving their everything right now to keep us safe. Shout out to everyone on the front-line.
“We see you, we appreciate you, we thank you and we’re in awe of you!”
