The Anambra State Police Command reported the tragic death of Officer Anthony Ogbodo, who was involved in a motorcycle accident with a shuttle bus. Ogbodo passed away on Saturday, and the driver of the bus had taken him to the hospital in Enugwu Ukwu before he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver has been arrested, and an investigation is ongoing to clarify the circumstances of the accident. The Command refuted social media speculations regarding the cause of the officer’s death and extends condolences to his family. The Commissioner of Police, CP Aderemi Adeoye, has pledged a swift pursuit of justice in this case.
