Social Media Erupts as Nathaniel Bassey’s Hallelujah Challenge Returns

The October 2025 edition of gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey’s Hallelujah Challenge made a powerful comeback at midnight on October 7, drawing massive attention across social media platforms.

Within minutes of the live worship session going live on YouTube and Instagram, the hashtag #HallelujahChallenge began trending on X and TikTok, as thousands of participants shared worship clips, testimonies, and personal moments of praise.

According to reports, over 600,000 worshippers joined the opening night’s livestream, uniting in prayers, songs, and declarations of faith.

Bassey also thrilled fans with a major announcement — the forthcoming launch of the Hallelujah Worship Centre in Lagos later this month. The centre will serve as a permanent home for the global worship movement that first began online in 2017.

With 25 days of uninterrupted praise scheduled, the October edition of the Hallelujah Challenge has once again reaffirmed its place as one of the world’s most dynamic digital worship gatherings — celebrating faith, unity, and the enduring power of music in connecting believers across borders.
