Popular Nigerian singer, Keshinro Ololade, better known as Lil Kesh, has reportedly been stabbed during a robbery attack in Lagos.
The 29-year-old artiste was said to have also been dispossessed of jewellery worth millions of naira during the incident, which occurred on Wednesday.
According to Hip TV, the assailants allegedly stabbed the “Shoki” crooner in the neck before carting away his valuables. The report has since triggered widespread concern, with fans and colleagues flooding social media with prayers and messages of support.
As of press time, neither Lil Kesh nor the Lagos State Police Command had issued an official statement regarding the attack.
Lil Kesh, who shot to fame in 2014 with the release of “Shoki,” remains one of the prominent voices in Nigeria’s street-hop music scene. He has collaborated with top stars including Olamide, Davido, and Wizkid.
