Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has joined the league of grandmothers following the arrival of her daughter, Priscilla Ojo’s first child.
Priscilla and her husband, Tanzanian music star Juma Jux, welcomed a baby boy, Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada.
The proud grandmother broke the news on Sunday, August 24, via her social media pages, where she expressed gratitude for the safe delivery of both mother and child.
The couple, who tied the knot earlier this year in a series of ceremonies held between February and May, first announced their pregnancy in July. Just last week, they hosted a blue-themed gender reveal party, confirming they were expecting a boy.
Congratulatory messages have since flooded social media, with fans and celebrities across Nigeria and Tanzania celebrating the newest addition to the family.
Priscilla, a Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur, and Juma Jux, one of East Africa’s leading singers, have been in the spotlight since making their relationship public in 2024. Their union has remained one of the most talked-about celebrity marriages of 2025.
Mother and baby are said to be in good health, while both families are reportedly in high spirits over the new arrival.
