One Sergeant Promise Ukwuoma and an employee of a new generation Bank (name withheld), Rumuolumeni Branch, Samuel Ndudiri, were confirmed arrested by the Rivers State Police Command in an attempt to rob the bank. The on-going construction works on the Zungeru Hydro-electric Power Plant Project would add 700 Megawatts of electricity to the national grid, when completed, FG announces. Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN), has restated the Federal Government’s commitment to ending open drug hawking by Aug. 1, 2017. N80 billion has been paid by MTN Nigeria as part of the N330 billion fine imposed on it for failing to deactivate more than five million unregistered SIM cards. Millions of naira worth of goods were on Sunday destroyed, while more than 300 structures were razed after fire gutted the Lagos State office of the Nigerian Breweries Plc.
