Lagos, Ogun affected as Monkeypox cases spread in 31 states

Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Dr. Chikwe Ihekweazu yesterday announced that fresh cases of Monkeypox disease had been recorded in the country. He said 19 fresh cases had been recorded across the country, aside from the 12 cases that were earlier recorded in Bayelsa State. The Lagos State Government on Monday revealed that two suspected cases of Monkey Pox have been recorded in the state.
