64-year-old carpenter arrested for defiling six-year-old in Lagos

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a carpenter, Habib Abdullahi, 64, for defiling a six-year-old girl in Ikorodu, Lagos. The Commisioner of Police in Lagos state, Edgal Imohimi, who paraded the suspect, said the mother of the victim informed the command of the incident, adding that the outcome of the investigation conducted revealed that the suspect took the victim into his room and sexually abused her. Man sentenced to 15years imprisonment for having sex with pregnant goat

Reuben Mwamba, a 22-year-old man, who admitted having sex with a pregnant goat, has had his jail term extended to 15 years. Mwamba was previously imprisoned by a court in Zambia for five years but prosecutors were outraged, so they took his case to a higher court. Ebenezer Adeyeye, a primary school teacher, has been remanded in prison custody by a magistrate court sitting in Okitipupa, in the Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.
