Police in Abuja have paraded three secondary school teachers arrested recently for allegedly aiding and abating malpractices in West African Examinations Council, WAEC, in three states in the South. A 40-year-old man, Emeka Okwuosa has been remanded in Ogwashi prison by Magistrate court in Nsukwa, Delta State for allegedly raping a two-year-old girl. Okwuosa who was remanded for unlawful carnal knowledge of the minor was arraigned by the police yesterday and will be in the prison pending advice from Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP). Chanchal Lahiri, an magician has drowned while trying to replicate an underwater Houdini-inspired stunt — tying himself up with chains and ropes and being lowered into a river, Indian police said.
