Visa restrictions has been imposed by the United States Government on some Nigerian politicians, which it said undermined Nigerian democracy. 167 wild animals killed by flood in India

Floods in India’s northeastern state of Assam have killed 167 wild animals, says forest officials on Tuesday. The officials said that the  deaths was reported in Kaziranga national park, whose over 90 per cent of the area was inundated. “167 animals including 16 rhinos were killed in the Kaziranga national park due to floods. “The forest department and other agencies have rescued 64 animals so far,” wildlife officials said. Bashir Umar, a Nigeria Air Force personnel, has returned the sum of €37,000 (N312.7 million) to its owner, Alhaji Ahmad, who misplaced the money at the Hajj Camp in Kano State.
