Aggrieved parents of students in private secondary schools in Ogun State on Sunday, protested against the N25,000 COVID-19 test fee for each of their children. The government had said no boarding school student would be admitted into schools without a certificate of COVID-19 test which must be negative. Seven women making Sallah hair found dead in Niger beauty salon

Seven females were reportedly found dead in a salon in the Rijau Local Government Area of Niger State. The incident occurred on Thursday night when the victims; two married women and five ladies went to the salon in the evening to make their hair in preparation for Sallah. Schools resumption: Ogun makes COVID-19, malaria tests pre-condition for boarding students

Ahead of their resumption on Monday, Ogun State Government has said it will conduct COVID-19 and malaria  tests for boarding students. The government said the test commenced from Friday July 31 and would end on Monday, August 3 before the students would resume. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State, has said that worship centres in the state will be allowed to reopen from Friday, August 7. The rate of human trafficking in the United States is higher than that of Nigeria. This was made known by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP.
