A grandmother, Funmilayo Olalere, has been arrested by police in Osun State, for beating her grandchild till she lost an eye. The grandmother, who lives in Amondo village, near Ile-Ife, was accused of assaulting her grandchild living with her. It was gathered that the suspect beat the victim with a broom, which stocked in one eye and damaged it. Terrorists in military uniforms, yesterday, invaded Government Science College Kagara, in Niger State and abducted unconfirmed number of students and their teachers into the forest.
