Officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), arrested two men, and have excreted a total of 191 pellets of heroin and cocaine while under observation at the airport. Covid-19: Nigeria’s active cases increase by 39 – NCDC

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said that the country’s COVID-19 active cases increased by 39, bringing the total number to 7,821. The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Saturday. It, however, recorded 60 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 164,207. A woman identified as Mrs. Nnenna Egwuagu has been arrested for allegedly murdering her stepson. She was picked up by operatives of the Enugu State Police Command attached to the 9th Mile Police Division.
