Abubakar Malami, the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, on Wednesday, slammed Southern governors for banning open grazing in the region. 4.9m tramadol capsules intercepted at Onne Port by NDLEA

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted a container bearing 4,996,200 capsules of tramadol weighing 2,498.2 kilogrammes at the Onne Port, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The seizure of the illicit drug concealed in 1,387 cartons on Tuesday, 18th May, 2021 followed a joint examination by NDLEA operatives and customs personnel on a container marked MRKU 0764717, which had since been on the agency’s watch list. COVID-19: NCDC records 29 new infections, total now 165,807

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday said the country recorded additional 29 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 165,807.
