FG alerts INTERPOL as 240 escape in Kogi jailbreak

Gunmen reportedly attacked Kabba Prisons in Kogi State late Sunday night, killing a soldier and policeman manning security at the facility. The Federal Government yesterday enlisted the help of the International Police Organisation, INTERPOL in tracking the fleeing inmates. The gunmen also set free no fewer than 240 prisoners from the prisons in the attack in which two prisons’ personnel were also declared missing. Woman, son arrested by NSCDC for incest in Kwara

An immigrant from Benin Republic, Adamu Sime, has been arrested by operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Kwara State, for allegedly having carnal knowledge of his biological mother. Nigeria records 727 fresh COVID-19 cases –NCDC

559 fresh cases of COVID-19 has been reported with five deaths in Nigeria on Thursday. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known in its infections update published on its Facebook page on Friday. Muhammed Yusuf, a suspected drug addict, has allegedly beaten his father to death in Lokoja, Kogi State.
