Gunmen, enforcing the sit-at-home order of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, attacked Comprehensive Secondary School, Nkume, chasing away students who were sitting for the West African Examinations Council, WAEC. Gunmen reportedly attacked Kabba Prisons in Kogi State late Sunday night, killing a soldier and policeman manning security at the facility. The Federal Government yesterday enlisted the help of the International Police Organisation, INTERPOL in tracking the fleeing inmates. Five suspected ritual killers have been arrested by policemen attached to the Kwara State Police Command in connection with the alleged murder of a commercial sex worker in Patigi in the Patigi Local Government Area of the state. 559 fresh cases of COVID-19 has been reported with five deaths in Nigeria on Thursday. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known in its infections update published on its Facebook page on Friday.
