Two policemen killed, others injured as motorcyclists clash in Lagos

Two police officers were reportedly killed while others were injured yesterday at the Ajao Estate area of Lagos, while attempting to impound some commercial motorcycles which was met by stiff resistance as the riders popularly known as Okada went berserk. Among the dead policemen was a Superintendent of Police (SP). Others were left with varying degree of injuries. The Nigerian Army has said a female soldier, Lt. Chika Anele, seen in a viral video dehumanising a member of the National Youth Service Corps, will be tried for unprofessional conduct. COVID-19: Nigeria announces 3 additional deaths, 513 new cases

513 new cases of COVID-19 has been announced by fourteen states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), on Tuesday, according to figures released on Wednesday morning by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control,(NCDC). Amotekun arrests three for beheading septuagenarian

Three men have been arrested by the Amotekun corps in Oyo State for allegedly kidnapping and beheading a 73-year-old man, Adebisi Adeniyi.
