Court sacks 20 Cross River lawmakers over defection

20 Cross River State lawmakers we’re yesterday sacked by Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court, Abuja for defecting from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Kidnapping: Cocoa merchant escapes while abductors slept off

Idowu Shaba, a 55-year-old cocoa merchant in Supare Akoko, Ondo State, has reportedly escaped from the captivity of his abductors while they slept off. The victim, according to reports, was kidnapped between Ago and ldoani while travelling for a church engagement.
