China-Exim Bank has rejected Nigeria’s $22,798,446,773 loan request earlier approved by the National Assembly. This has made the House of Representatives, to approve the request by the Federal Government to borrow $973,474,971.38 from China Development Bank after the rejection by China-Exim bank. Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja, on Monday sentenced a domestic worker, Joseph Ogbu, to death by hanging for killing his employer, an 89-year-old grandmother, Adejoke John, and her daughter, Oreoluwa, at their home in the Surulere area of the state. Ten persons have been reported killed in a fresh attack on Langson, Zangon-Kataf Local Council of Kaduna State.
