Labour suspends strike as FG reverses hike in electricity tariff

Reports from the Facebook account of the Minister of State for Labour and Employment,  Festus Keyamo, announced at about3am that the Organized Labour has called off its planned strike action after reaching an agreement with the Federal Government. Keyamo said the electricity tariff had been reversed albeit temporarily while the deregulation of the oil sector was retained. Three bodies, truck recovered from Epe- Berger bridge accident

Bodies of human casualties numbering three, a Volvo truck which plunged into the Epe River late Friday night have been recovered. The Volvo truck fell off the Berger bridge at Epe into the Epe River after it collided with a truck and was only retrieved about 1 p.m yesterday afternoon(Saturday). A gas tanker exploded around Iju-Ishaga/Ajuwon axis of Lagos, leaving scores of people injured, and properties burnt. Herdsmen lose 15 cows to lightning in Ekiti
