Open Grazing: Bayelsa government impounds 34 cows for violation

Bayelsa State Livestock Management Committee (BSLMC) has arrested 34 cows around the Bayelsa Palm area in Yenagoa, the state capital, for violating the state’s anti-open grazing law. The Commissioner for Agriculture, who is also, the chairman of the committee, David Alagoa, stated that the herders chose a convenient time in the night to graze, saying some of the cattle were seen grazing on farmlands. 105 medical doctors resigned in Ondo State over poor welfare package

No fewer than 105 Medical Doctors resigned from the Ondo State hospitals in the last one year, according to Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in the state, Dr Stella Adegbehingbe.
