One Jonathan James, 31, in Bagadaza Quarters, Gombe State, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his 65-year-old aunt, Ramatu Musa, to death with a sharp knife. A labourer, Sunday Emmanuel, has been remanded in prison custody by order of an Ondo State Chief Magistrate Court for allegedly killing his wife Linda. A 41-year-old Canadian lady, Adrienne Munju, was on Wednesday convicted and sentenced to 11 years imprisonment by the Federal High Court in Lagos, for importing 35.20 kilogrammes of Canadian Loud (Cannabis Sativa) into Nigeria. A 42-year-old teacher, Gbolahan Osinusi, has been arrested by detectives from the Lagos State Police Command, for allegedly having sexual intercourse with a student for five years since she was 12 years old.
