A branch of Polaris Bank located in the Oke Ejigbo area of Ila Orangun, Osun State was on Thursday, attacked by armed robbers. The robbers reportedly killed a policeman, simply identified as Oloke Mewa, who was one of the security guards working at the bank, and a medical doctor, who was simply identified as Moshood. Sunday Umaru, a 34-year-old dismissed solider has been sentenced to death by hanging by a Plateau State High Court sitting in Barkin Ladi, on Wednesday, for hacking his lover to death over a message he found on her mobile telephone.
