A pastor of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Gwarinpa branch, David Onyekachuku has been arrested by operatives of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, for allegedly raping and impregnating a 16-year-old girl. A 40-year-old farmer, Alex Obigho, has been sentenced to death by hanging by a Delta State High Court sitting in Ughelli, for the murder of the steward and cook of the traditional ruler of Kiagbodo community. Two members of a kidnap gang operating in Kaduna State, have been arrested by operatives of the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team. Adili Ejike, a Nigerian, who was convicted for drug-related offences, has escaped death by a whisker following the decision of Singapore’s Supreme Court to void his earlier conviction.
