The United States has arraigned 11 more Nigerians over another $6m alleged bank fraud barely two weeks after six Nigerians were arraigned for alleged involvement in internet fraud. According to a statement by the US Attorney’s Office, District of New Jersey, the defendants are Sulaiman Dosunmu, 39;  Tunde Adeowo, 40; Muritala Adeowo, 55; Ayanniyi Alayande, 47; Ahmmed Ponle, 41; Margiettu Kamu, 34; Rafiat Sarumi, 36; Babatunde Oke, 40; Adekunle Owolabi, 49; Olayinka Olaseinde, 42; Olugbenga Oyedele, 47. Family of kidnapped Bauchi State undergraduate, Patience Emmanuel, who went missing few days back, have revealed that the suspected cultists who kidnapped her, told them that they didn’t need money but the victim’s virginity. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nasarawa State Command, has arrested a 27-year-old man, Ahmadu Yaro, for allegedly defiling a three-month-old baby in Adogi village, Lafia Local Government Area of the state. In a video released on its official Twitter handle on Thursday, the Dubai Police Force, United Arab Emirates, has revealed how it arrested Nigerian Instagram celebrity, Ramon Abass, aka Hushpuppi. A 40-year-old Filipino lady, Irene Panas has been rescued by Police personnel in Enugu. She was allegedly held hostage by one Chukwudi Odo, whom she met on Facebook in 2019. Panas, an accountant based in Manila, was lured to Nene-Uno village in the Enugu East Local Government Area of Enugu State, where she spent six months, while being sexually abused by her supposed lover. Taiwo Odetunde, 27, was on Tuesday arraigned before an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly raping two minors. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission says it is working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation to trace those allegedly defrauded by Ramoni Igbalode, aka Ray Hushpuppi.
