The Chief Magistrate of a Surulere Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Thursday sentenced a 19-year-old man, Biodun Lukeman, to 10 days community service for stealing N61,000. The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Ipaye Nwachukwu, in her judgment, ordered that the convict must put two hours daily for 10 days in serving the sentence. The convict, whose address is unknown, pleaded guilty to the one-count charge of stealing. Founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, has pledged to use Nigerian languages in offering services on Facebook. Zuckerberg, who is currently on a business visit to Nigeria, made the promise at a meeting with software developers and ICT entrepreneurs on Wednesday in Lagos.
