Olurotimi Ayinde, a.k.a Abu Olododo is dead. The Nigerian film industry has once again been thrown into mourning, following his death in Abeokuta, capital of Ogun State, on Sunday night. The news of Ayinde’s passage came a few hours after the death of seasoned actor, poet and journalist, Adebayo Faleti, was announced. The publisher of a new book detailing Nelson Mandela’s last days, Penguin Random House, has confirmed the withdrawal of the book after it was condemned by his outraged widow, Graca Machel. Following heavy rainfall in Lagos, yesterday, two people reportedly lost their lives after a building collapsed in Meiran area of Agbado-Oke-Odo Local Government Area.
