Clarence Seedorf Sacked as Manager of Cameroon
Following the elimination of defending champions Cameroon from the 2019 AFCON, their manager Clarence Seedorf has been fired. Cameroonian Minister of Sports, Narcisse Mouelle Kombia announced on television that Seedorf was sacked with “immediate effect” because he is not “the ideal man to train the Indomitable Lions”. Over 2,000 residents of Okpoko community in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State, were rendered homeless while 300 houses were destroyed following a flood that ravaged the area.
