Following the elimination of defending champions Cameroon from the 2019 AFCON, their manager Clarence Seedorf has been fired. Cameroonian Minister of Sports, Narcisse Mouelle Kombia announced on television that Seedorf was sacked with “immediate effect” because he is not “the ideal man to train the Indomitable Lions”. 300 houses destroyed by flood in Anambra

Over 2,000 residents of Okpoko community in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State, were rendered homeless while 300 houses were destroyed following a flood that ravaged the area. A twenty eight-year-old teacher, Brittany Zamora, a sixth grade teacher with Las Brisas Academy in Arizona, has been convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison for having sex with her underage pupil.
