The suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress has been lifted by the Court of Appeal in Abuja on Monday. Before  the appellate court nullified Oshiomhole’s suspension, the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), had postponed indefinitely, the APC National Executive Committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday (today). The Federal Government has told the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) that it had “no record of the exact amount of public funds stolen by a former military Head of State, Gen. Teenager arrested for defiling five minors in one week

Nwafor Jacob, an 18-year-old boy, was on Friday remanded in a correctional centre by an Ebonyi State Magistrates’ Court  in Abakaliki for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old minor. A fake naval officer, Azeez Ali, has been arrested by men of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly mutilating the private parts of a 42-year-old man, Sunday Amoo. Gas plant Explosion kills 17, raze 50 houses in Lagos

A gas explosion which occurred at Abule-Ado area, near the International Trade Fair Complex, Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State on Sunday, has left no fewer than 17 persons dead and 25 others injured.
