Media personality Toke Makinwa has publicly criticised interior designer Sandra Edoho following the emergence of a leaked voice note involving singer Chike.
In the leaked audio conversation, Sandra was allegedly heard making remarks about Makinwa, claiming that the media entrepreneur could not afford her interior design services.
The comments triggered an immediate reaction from Makinwa, who revisited their long-running feud and accused the designer of poor workmanship and unprofessional conduct during past projects.
Reacting via social media, Makinwa described Sandra as “ungrateful,” alleging that the designer handled two of her homes and earned millions of naira from the projects despite later criticising her publicly.
The media personality further claimed that Sandra delivered substandard finishing, lacked professionalism and repeatedly displayed a condescending attitude towards her despite benefiting from the business relationship.
The renewed feud comes amid ongoing public conversations surrounding Sandra’s reported marital issues with her estranged husband, Frank Edoho.
The conflict between the two women dates back to 2019 when Makinwa publicly accused Sandra of doing a poor interior decoration job at her luxury residence. At the time, she shared photographs online showing damaged fittings and criticised the designer’s customer service.
However, in the newly leaked audio with Chike, Sandra reportedly reflected on the controversy and claimed that the backlash eventually boosted her business profile, adding that she secured her highest-paying client after the public fallout.
Sandra also allegedly disclosed in the recording that she blocked Makinwa on social media while the media star was on vacation in Miami.
Born on November 3, 1984, Makinwa rose to prominence as a co-host of The Morning Drive on Rhythm 93.7 FM before expanding her brand through her popular vlog series, Toke Moments.
Over the years, she has built a successful career spanning broadcasting, television hosting, acting, fashion and entrepreneurship, becoming one of Nigeria’s most influential female media personalities.
