Delta Police Arrest Three Suspected Female Drug Traffickers, Recover Canadian Loud, Codeine in Warri

Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested three suspected female drug traffickers during a covert operation in Ogbomoro and Ugolo communities in Warri metropolis, recovering substances suspected to be Canadian Loud, codeine and other illicit drugs.

The suspects, identified as Favor Isaac, 25; Favour Felix, 24; and Samson Precious, 19, were apprehended by operatives attached to the Effurun Area Command following intelligence reports on the activities of drug peddlers operating within the communities.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, disclosed that the operation was carried out on May 7, 2026.

According to him, police operatives executed a search warrant at a hideout located along River Road in Ogbomoro community, where they recovered 640 grams of substances suspected to be Canadian Loud concealed in bags and containers.

Edafe further revealed that the operatives also recovered 21 bottles of CSC Codeine, two canisters containing Nitrous Oxide, popularly known as “laughing gas,” as well as two packs of suspected psychoactive chewing gum branded “Highness Gum.”

He said preliminary investigations indicated that one Rukewe Tega Isaac, who is currently at large, is believed to be the major supplier linked to the drug distribution network.

The police spokesperson added that efforts were ongoing to arrest the fleeing suspect and other members of the syndicate.
