TikToker Peller Hospitalised After Car Crash During Emotional Livestream in Lagos

Popular TikTok influencer and livestreamer Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has been hospitalised following a car crash involving his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos.

The incident occurred on Sunday while the content creator was reportedly livestreaming on Instagram. A video from the session, which has since gone viral, showed Peller visibly distressed and emotional as he drove alone.

During the livestream, Peller appeared agitated, shedding tears and making several alarming statements linked to fears of public ridicule should his relationship end. At some point, he made remarks suggesting self-harm, which immediately raised concern among viewers.

Moments later, footage captured the vehicle veering off the road and crashing into a barrier, leaving the luxury car badly damaged. Bystanders quickly intervened, offering assistance before Peller was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Although it has been confirmed that he is receiving care, details regarding the extent of his injuries have not been officially disclosed.

Peller’s relationship with fellow content creator Jarvis has been marked by frequent public disputes, allegations and reconciliations, often played out on social media. Recent leaked chats hinting at another breakup have fueled speculation that emotional distress from the relationship may have contributed to the incident.

Reactions online have been divided, with many Nigerians expressing concern over Peller’s physical and mental well-being, while others questioned the authenticity of the incident, citing his history of dramatic and viral online content.

The incident has once again sparked conversations around mental health, emotional pressure on social media influencers, and the dangers of livestreaming while driving.
