The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a herbal product seller, Williams Adetunji, for allegedly promoting and selling fake fibroid-treatment drugs that reportedly caused severe health complications for multiple women. Adetunji was apprehended after a woman filed a petition accusing him of selling unapproved products — Enervate Capsules and Tumorex — which he claimed could “eliminate fibroids naturally.” The victim said the products contained harmful chemicals, including caustic soda, leading to chemical burns, vaginal damage, prolonged bleeding and other dangerous reproductive complications.
