The Super Eagles narrowly escaped disaster yesterday when their ValueJet aircraft made an emergency landing in Luanda, Angola. The team was en route from Polokwane, South Africa, to Uyo for Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier against Benin Republic when the plane’s windscreen cracked shortly after taking off from a refuelling stop.
