Gunmen have abducted Pastor Friday Adehi of the Christian Evangelical Fellowship of Nigeria (CEFN) Church and a church member, Gabriel Ezekiel, in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State. The incident occurred on Sunday, August 24, 2025, along the Ajegwu–Ojodu road. The victims were said to be returning to their residence in Itobe after attending a naming ceremony following church service when they were attacked.
