The Bauchi State Police Command has apprehended three suspects linked to the killing of Constable Bala Magaji on July 25, 2023. The incident occurred while Magaji was on duty in Konkiyel village.
According to Ahmed Wakil, the Police Public Relations Officer, the suspects confessed to using machetes and sticks to attack and kill the officer. Aminu Mohammed, also known as Kangado, revealed that they ambushed Magaji during the night and inflicted fatal injuries.
The suspects are in custody, while six others are still being pursued by the police. The investigation is ongoing to capture the remaining gang members.
