Supreme Court Wing in Abuja Engulfed by Morning Fire

On Monday morning, a fire broke out in a section of the Supreme Court complex located in the Three-Arm-Zone of Abuja. The fire, which began at approximately 7am, led to a state of panic among court staff as they rushed to ensure their safety.

Fortunately, no injuries or loss of life were reported, although it remains uncertain whether important documents and files were damaged in the fire. According to a source, the fire is suspected to have been caused by an electrical malfunction in one of the offices within the court’s administrative wing.

The source also confirmed that the fire affected three offices, including that of Justice Mohammed Saulawa, before it was eventually extinguished. However, as of now, the Supreme Court has not issued an official statement regarding the incident.
