The Imo State Police Command rescued a 16-year-old girl named Khadizat Labran from Kogi State. She was kidnapped by gunmen at Ganaja Junction in Lokoja, blindfolded, and taken into a vehicle.
Fortunately, she managed to escape and was found by a good samaritan wandering on the road in Nkwerre, Imo State. She speaks Pidgin English fluently, has no tribal marks, and claims to be from Lokoja.
The police are urging anyone who knows her or her parents to contact them at 08148024755 to help reunite her with her family.
