Social media influencer, Mike Eze a.k.a Pretty Mike has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly facilitating operations at the Cubana Nightclub in the Victoria Island.
His activities which violates the COVID-19 protocols, had led to the arrest and parading of 172 persons arrested during a raid on the nightclub.
Pretty Mike who loves to court controversy, once posted photos which made headlines on social media, when crashed a society wedding with six pregnant women – claiming he was dad to all of their babies.
He has also at different times, attended functions with ladies leeches like dogs on display, to generate attention, until he was arrested and warned to desist from such.
Now, Mike is being interrogated for his role in opening the nightclub, despite government’s prohibition due to the pandemic.
The flamboyant businessman, who also love to post photos of ‘his’ expensive cars like Mercedes GL 459, worth £60,000 and a £158,000 Bentley GT, all with customised number plates, may not have had his last, as far as controversy is concerned.
However, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed Eze’s arrest, said,
“We picked him as a consultant for Cubana club. He allegedly facilitated the operations of the club on that day and he will be charged to court. We have our findings that he is the consultant/manager of that club. He has a case to answer.”
Meanwhile, the 172 persons arrested in the nightclub before Eze’s arrest had been convicted by a mobile court at the Oshodi area of Lagos.
