Diesel Tank Explosion Claims Two Lives at Canadian Embassy in Abuja

According to FEMA’s spokesperson, Nkechi Isa, a tragic incident occurred at the Canadian Embassy in Abuja. The incident involved a diesel tank explosion in the generator house, which occurred at around 10:45 am.

The explosion happened while a team of five personnel from the JMD company was servicing two MIKANO generators. One generator was operational, while the other was undergoing maintenance. The explosion resulted in the loss of two lives among the maintenance team, and two others sustained serious burns, requiring treatment at the Trauma Centre in the National Hospital, Abuja.
