Teenage robbers nicknamed after dead armed robbers arrested in Ondo

19 suspected criminals have been arrested by the Ondo State Security Network Agency, also known as Amotekun Corps, in different parts of the state. Among the suspects were two teenagers, Timilehin (12), aka Anini, and Sunday (16), aka Oyenusi; and 20-year-old Odeyemi Ayodele, aka Osumbo. Anini, Oyenusi and Osumbo were hardened criminals who were killed by firing squad during the military era. Ex-Govs Dariye, Nyame convicted for stealing N2.7bn, gets presidential pardon

The pardon of 159 convicts including a former Governor of Plateau State, Senator Joshua Dariye; and ex-Governor Jolly Nyame of Taraba State, who were both imprisoned for stealing N1.16bn and N1.6bn respectively has been approved by the Council of State led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
