Kano State Government has officially shut down 10 boarding schools in the outskirts of the state to avoid a repeat of the insessant kidnappings of school children going on in the northern parts of the country. The state Commissioner for Education, Muhammad Sunusi Kiru, disclosed this in a short audio message over the radio stations in the state yesterday night.
